Fighting for Fitness & the Aliso Viejo Boys and Girls Club partner to "PUNCH OUT" childhood obesity!
The City of Aliso Viejo sponsored a Health & Fitness Expo at the Boys and Girls Club this past weekend. The Expo was designed to educate and empower the kids & their families to be more healthy.
Fighting for Fitness participated by holding our Let's Roll class and by utilizing some of our partners products to show that healthy can be fun. A special thanks to Perfect Food Bars, Inc, Sportastic healthy sport drinks & the Burn Machine!
The big hit of the day was when our own
Athlete Advisory Board member, James "Lightning" Wilks stopped by to meet the kids. He took pictures & signed over 100 autographs for the kids and their parents!
The Boys & Girls Club's classes are held on the park's baseball field because they don't have mats or equipment.

Fighting for Fitness, Inc. is a non-profit 501c(3) public charity located in Irvine, California. Fighting for Fitness is purposed to reduce the problem of childhood obesity through encouraging kids to participate in fun combat sport oriented exercise regimens, to eat healthier and if desired, to participate in National & International level combat sport competitions. Fighting for Fitness' unique programs incorporates the growing popularity of MMA with our message to Eat Better & Exercise More!!!
Our mission is achieved by introducing kids and their parents to the many benefits of participation in combat sports/MMA. The practice of Martial Arts or Combat Sports has a long established reputation for increasing kid's health, focus, self discipline and self esteem...MMA is no different!
Fighting for Fitness provides several classes per week and impacts kids throughout Orange County. We have partnered with organizations like The Orange County Health Dept, Mission Hospital, St Joseph Health System,The City of Santa Ana, The City of Mission Viejo, Saddleback Valley USD, Capistrano Valley USD, The Boys and Girls Clubs and many more!
